Staff reported that the Arts Commission completed payment to the muralist and processed Shakespeare in the Park expenses. "We did finally pay out the muralist completely," the staff member said, and added that she had added a previously approved library-speaker expense of $1,575 to the expected budget line (sales tax may slightly change the final figure).
Staff proposed using a $5,000 City Hall exhibit budget to purchase gallery upgrades and an event kit (branded tent, tablecloth, media console and some print/photo materials) and said she will prepare detailed recommendations for the September meeting. Commissioners also asked about a $983.64 autumn-mosaic equipment purchase; staff confirmed that amount is coded to supplies. No purchases were finalized at this meeting.
