The Selectboard voted to warn a Special Town Meeting for May 11, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at the Town Hall to consider two articles. ARTICLE 1 would authorize the town to raise and appropriate up to $81,000 to fund, in part, the salary and benefits of a General Office Manager, with some of the cost to be shared across departments. ARTICLE 2 is a non-binding article authorizing the Selectboard to investigate purchasing one or more parcels of land for future use.
Leanne Alexander moved to approve the warning and James Ameden seconded; the motion passed unanimously. The Selectboard directed that meeting information be posted on the Town Clerk's webpage and public notice procedures be followed.
