Council awards Lincoln Avenue street bid to Kesteloot Excavation; CDBG public hearing scheduled

At its May 7 meeting the Viborg City Council awarded the Lincoln Avenue construction bid to Kesteloot Excavation after a bid opening held earlier in the day. Pat Carey with Banner Associates presented the bid results and updated the council on the 2027 Highway 19 project schedule.
Carey said the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding will be rescoped and that a public hearing on the CDBG rescope will be held at the June council meeting. "Bid opening for Lincoln Ave. was held at City Hall earlier in the day, bid was awarded to Kesteloot Excavation on a motion by Voog and a second by Frederickson," the meeting minutes state.
