The Viborg City Council voted May 7 to pay $10,670.91 toward the Viborg Community Club’s remaining balance for a community center remodel. Robert Rasmussen of the Viborg Community Club presented the request during the meeting and asked the council to contribute to remaining payments.
Councilmember Ross Frederickson moved to approve the payment and Neal Hanson seconded; the council recorded the vote as unanimous. "Motion by Frederickson, second by Hanson to pay $10,670.91 of remaining balance," the meeting record shows. The payment will be processed through the city’s warrants and recorded in the city financials.
