Commissioners were told the draft moratorium will go to the city council for a public hearing on May 18 and staff aims to return the wastewater facility plan amendment for adoption on June 1. Kelly (staff) and city attorney Josh Silver asked commissioners to submit follow-up questions by email so staff can provide written responses ahead of the hearings.
Commissioners also invited plant tours to see upgrades and the new equalization basin; staff offered morning tour slots to avoid heat and odor concerns. The commission set the next regular meeting for June 22 and noted at least one code-amendment hearing will be on that agenda.
