Council Approves Mesa Ridge Filing 1A Final Plat and Updates Subdivision Agreement

The council unanimously approved Resolution 26-32 to accept a final plat for Mesa Ridge Subdivision Filing 1A and adopt first amendments to the PUD final development plan and the subdivision agreement. Applicant representative Mahajebin Haque of Kimley Horn & Associates presented the proposal and Planning Manager Mark Doering briefed council on changes to the subdivision agreement.
Doering told council the agreement was updated so construction may begin this summer and to reflect construction cost estimates for 2026 rather than 2024; he also confirmed that Flying Circle will remain closed to through traffic until the street is constructed and that construction traffic will use Grand View Boulevard. Councilmember Bob Vince questioned an acceptance date listed as May 31; staff said the agreement language is being revised to reflect current timelines. The council approved the resolution by unanimous vote.
