Staff announces summer hours, retirement and Old Town slurry seal project

City Manager Jennifer Krieger used her staff report at the May 11 meeting to announce multiple personnel and operational updates. Krieger said the city will adopt summer hours from May 26 (Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM–5:30 PM; Friday, 8 AM–Noon) and noted the city set up a branch disposal location at Centennial Field following recent tree damage from a snowstorm. She also announced that Finance Director Kelly Stroh will be relocating to Arizona after 19 years with the city.
Public Works Director Bobby Redd reported that rock staged outside the engineering building is for a slurry seal project in Old Town and Sweetgrass scheduled to start May 20 and that there will be some traffic restrictions during the work. Staff also mentioned appreciation lunches for Public Works Week, Police Officers Week and for staff retirements. These operational notes will be used to inform logistics for upcoming events and maintenance work.
