Monica Elias recommended using the city's 3-1-1 service (app or phone) to report potholes, dead animals and similar street problems. "I like the 311 app because you could just take a picture," Elias said, noting it lets users attach images and track reports. She added that if residents cannot reach their councilor, the Chelsea Hill Community can forward messages to the appropriate party.
Speakers emphasized that volunteers should not pick up hazardous items such as needles; instead, they should report them through the proper channels so trained city staff or police handle removal. Elias encouraged residents to call their district councilor or email the group if they need help determining who to contact.
