Rogue River council backs ODOT TGM planning grant for I-5 interchange and downtown circulation

On July 24, 2025, the Rogue River City Council voted to approve Resolution 25-1458-R supporting an ODOT Transportation Growth Management (TGM) planning grant application focused on transportation improvement planning adjacent to the I-5 interchange and downtown circulation patterns. Councilor Barb Hilty moved the resolution; Councilor Christopher Howell seconded and the council recorded a unanimous vote in favor.
Earlier in the meeting staff noted an amendment to the 2027–2030 TIP and partial ODOT funding for signal improvements in Grants Pass (Sixth and Seventh streets) and work on Highway 199 toward Williams Highway; the resolution expresses local support for related planning activities in the city’s vicinity.
