Pavilion reservation rules tightened: no confetti, no stapling, no markings
Summary
Parks staff updated pavilion reservation language to prohibit littering items (confetti, glitter), stapling or attachments that mark pavilions, and additional rental-condition items; reservation continuation requires agreeing to the three rules.

Parks staff told the committee they had revised the pavilion reservation form to address concerns raised during a previous public comment. The form now requires renters to agree not to leave litter (including confetti and glitter), not to staple or attach decorations that will mark the pavilion, and to adhere to a third reservation condition discussed in committee documents.
"In order to continue with the reservation, you have to agree to those 3 items," a staff member said, describing the new requirements. Staff reported they will review language and confirm the verbiage with David (parks operations) to ensure enforcement and clarity in rental contracts.
The committee welcomed the change as a practical follow-up to a resident’s email and asked staff to continue refining contract language to avoid damage and extra cleaning costs.
