McCook County to accept donated food pantry building; repairs estimated at $30,000

The minutes record that contractors, suppliers and individuals are expected to donate time and materials for the work, and county personnel indicated the building is sound per Brad Kranz. Auditor Geralyn Sherman confirmed that repairs can be expensed from the Courthouse Building budget.
Commissioner Dean Koch moved that Skaff and Blindert work out the details of an agreement; Commissioner Steve Gordon seconded and the motion carried. Cori Kaufmann, Director of Equalization, said a plat will be drawn for Salem City to reflect the change in lot lines.
