Verhus said the program showed measurable changes in behavioral‑incident metrics between the 2024–25 and 2025–26 reporting periods and described a small increase in average GPA among participants. “There’s about 400 meals prepared from scratch each week,” she said, describing the foundation’s senior hot‑meals deliveries and volunteer network of roughly 87 people who prepare, shop for and deliver meals. She asked council members to remain engaged and invited staff‑level follow‑up questions.
