Board discusses trail promotion and confirms Sanatoga Park irrigation is running

Thomas C. Troutman raised concerns about trail maintenance and public awareness and proposed a printed pamphlet and bulletin-board postings to advertise trails and community events.
"I feel more needs to be done for advertising the trails," Troutman said, proposing a paper map and pamphlets available at the Township building and at community bulletin boards. Philip Johnson recommended updating trail descriptions on the township website and staff agreed to raise the matter with the Township Manager.
Troutman also asked whether sprinklers were being used at Sanatoga Park; Mr. Hoiser confirmed the irrigation system is currently running. Board members discussed scheduling hikes on township trails for scout groups to increase use and familiarity.
