Summer concert series to begin June 28; food trucks will charge patrons

Staff told the board the 2026 summer concert series will begin Sunday, June 28, and listed initial performers and food-truck plans.
Ms. Cronrath said the series is kicked off by The Bill Koss Combo and named Barefoot Bobby and the Breakers, Stephanie Grace and Livewire among other performers. She explained food trucks will be on site and that residents will need to buy food because "the truck agreed to not charge the Township to come out to the event, but that in turn, they do need to charge the residents to make a profit from the event." She added that free water would be provided.
The Livewire concert will be a fundraiser for Adventure Grove and that organizer will arrange the food truck there. Ms. Cronrath said she will not attend the kickoff concert due to a scheduling conflict but that Public Works and the Township manager will oversee logistics.
Board members asked whether food would be complimentary; staff clarified attendees should expect to pay vendors directly.
