Public Works reports pothole repairs, tree removals and irrigation tests

At the June 22 meeting, Parks & Recreation staff summarized recent Public Works activity across the township and preparations for upcoming projects.
Samantha Cronrath recited a list of recent tasks: in April Public Works "pothole patched roads in the Township, mowed, trimmed, and emptied trash" and installed landscaping at the Township building; in May crews removed thirteen dead trees along Snell Road, replaced wooden retaining walls at the Township building, and began the insulation project at 1239 N Pleasantview Rd. She also reported crews "replaced seven main hole castings for upcoming paving project" and "turned on and tested the irrigation system at Sanatoga Park."
The report was presented as an operational update and Ms. Cronrath said the Finance Team is available to answer budget questions. Board members asked clarifying questions about which repairs come from the Park and Recreation budget; Ms. Cronrath confirmed park repairs are charged to that budget.
