Sarah Vowell, associate planner, presented city file TA 26-01, a package of text amendments intended to correct errors, update references and clarify code language. Vowell said the amendments were "not to create, modify, or remove standards," but to fix spelling, outline, and cross-reference issues that make the code difficult to use.
Following the presentation, commissioners had no questions and deliberated briefly. Commissioner (S2) moved to recommend TA 26-01 to city council as drafted; the motion was seconded and carried by unanimous voice vote. The commission will forward its recommendation and staff noted tentative council workshop and adoption dates in late May and June.
