Council approves Conditional Use Permit for vehicle service at 3761 Lexington with expanded signage

Community Development Director Jacob Reilly presented Planning Case 26-008: Vector Styling’s application to lease and combine two tenant spaces at 3761 Lexington Avenue for a new TINT WORLD vehicle window-tinting and stereo-installation business. "The Applicant plans to lease 3,900 square feet of an existing facility for a new business, TINT WORLD," Reilly said, and staff concluded the property can support the proposed use with the requested site modifications.
Reilly explained the applicant requested a sign standard adjustment to add 110 square feet of wall signage (two 55-square-foot signs) in Sign District 5, bringing the building total to 190 square feet. The Planning Commission recommended approval 6-1 with five conditions: (1) complete the project per submitted plans, (2) parking to conform to code, (3) obtain building permit for structural alterations, (4) separate sign permits for each sign, and (5) future trash enclosure to be gated and constructed on three sides with approved materials. Mayor Grant opened and closed the public hearing with no speakers and the council adopted Resolution 2026-031 approving the CUP and sign adjustment (motion carried 5-0).
