Arden Hills schedules Night to Unite and 75th Anniversary; Ribfest date announced

Assistant to the City Administrator/City Clerk Julie Hanson outlined several community events and logistics for Arden Hills this summer and fall. "Night to Unite would be held on Tuesday, August 4 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.," Hanson said, and she encouraged hosts to register with the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office by July 21 to receive possible visits from deputies, fire personnel, and city officials. Hanson said donation drop-offs for school supplies will be accepted at neighborhood Night to Unite events and at City Hall and at the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Patrol Station during specified dates.
Hanson also announced the City’s 75th Anniversary event: "the City’s 75th Anniversary event would be held on Friday, July 17 from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Cummings Park," with parking allowed at Boston Scientific and a schedule of activities being planned. Councilmember Emily Rousseau additionally noted Rib Fest is scheduled for Saturday, September 19 and reviewed the school-supply drive flyer tied to Night to Unite. The council did not take formal action; staff will publish participating neighborhoods and event information on the City website.
