Councilmember Mackleit moved to approve the resolution and Councilmember Huntwork seconded; the roll call was recorded as all yes. The council previously authorized Xpress Bill Pay for online transactions and this resolution directs funds through a dedicated account to streamline accounting.
Kramlich said the change is intended to reduce reconciliation workload for finance staff and keep online payments clearly segregated from other receipts. The council made no amendments and the resolution will be implemented by city finance staff in coordination with the bank and Xpress Bill Pay provider.
