Marlene Carroll delivered the district—s first annual strategic plan update, outlining long‑term goals around student engagement, resilience and college/career readiness and highlighting several performance measures. "So we have some different measurements, for our strategic plan, and one of them was the preACT readiness scores," Carroll said, then reported a PreACT composite of 18.3 with 345 students participating and an ACT mean of 23.1 (219 students).
Carroll said the district has a 2026—27 target to raise PreACT composite scores to 19 and an ACT target of reaching a 24 average in coming years. She also highlighted AP participation growth (about 145 more students) and an 81% AP pass rate for participating students. Carroll noted some accountability measures align with SB 141 and that proficiency and cohort graduation rates will continue to be monitored.
