Elementary 5th‑grade ambassadors describe leadership duties to Sherwood board

Principals from three elementary schools presented 5th‑grade ambassadors and described revised selection processes that included reflective applications and interviews. Sarah Wufter, principal of Archer Glen, introduced Ellie Smith and Davin Leith, who said ambassadors help younger students during morning arrival, run announcements and support classroom routines.
Middleton principal Natasha Edinger presented Mustang managers Grace Michael and Tyler, who outlined jobs including morning announcements, bus assistance and distributing weekly messages. Ridges Elementary introduced its ambassadors and described fall and spring ambassador cohorts; students emphasized leadership, responsibility and safety as central to their roles. "One of my favorite things about being an Eagle Ambassador is how the younger students look up to you," Ellie Smith said.
