District audit returns clean report with no findings, auditor review posted

Gary Bennett reported that the districts financial accountability committee met with the auditor immediately before the board meeting and that the audit produced a clean report with no findings. "The good news is that this year, we had a clean audit with no findings," Bennett said, adding that the audit and governing body letter will be available on the district website.
Bennett said the committee will present a fuller review at the next board meeting and that making the audit public supports several upcoming grant deadlines. Board members had no questions at the time and the board moved on to the next agenda item.
