District allocates referendum funds to dual-credit, compensation and curriculum adoptions in proposed 2026-27 budget

He said the budget includes a $200,000 investment in Madison College STEM Academy dual-credit programming and a $1,000,000 designation for compensation adjustments; together these are part of the original $4,000,000 referendum appropriation.
Clark also highlighted planned one-time expenditures exceeding $250,000, naming 6th-8th science and elementary math curriculum adoptions (costs shown as the total for the eight-year adoption) and the district office roofing project. He said the three largest items total just over $2,000,000 included in next year's budget and that, after the allocations described, a remaining portion of referendum funds will be reserved for future allocation.
