The Neodesha Board of Commissioners adopted Resolution 25-10 on July 23, 2025, finding the premises at 1305 N 8th Street to be unsafe and a blighting influence under the City's Environmental Code, Article 3, Section 26-43. The resolution directs the owner to repair or abate the property and gives the owner 60 days from the date of publication to commence the work; if the owner fails to diligently prosecute the abatement the City will cause the premises to be repaired or abated and assess the costs as a special assessment against the property.
The resolution records that the enforcing officer filed a written statement on Jan. 15, 2025, and that a prior governing-body resolution dated June 25, 2025 directed agents to abate conditions. Commissioner Truelove moved to approve Resolution 25-10; Commissioner Banzet seconded and the motion carried. The minutes do not record a roll-call tally; publication and service steps are described in the resolution text.
