Board names committee representatives for the year
Summary
The Ohio County Board announced committee assignments, naming board members to serve on the county schools foundation, parent advisory council, safety, wellness and other standing committees; the appointments were approved unanimously by the board.
Dr. Miller listed the board's committee representatives for the coming year and the board voted to accept the slate. She named Mr. Croft as Ohio County Schools Foundation president (as referenced during the committee rollcall), Mr. Garber and Mr. Ames for the Education Impact Network and other members for Parent Advisory Council, safety, wellness, CTE community integrations and athletic facilities.
The chair asked for a motion to accept the committee assignments; the motion was made, seconded and approved by voice vote (recorded as unanimous). Board members thanked volunteers for serving on committees that will meet through the year.
