Woodburn Planning Commission continues WDO transportation amendment hearing to Oct. 23

The Woodburn Planning Commission on Oct. 9 voted to continue a public hearing on LA23‑1, a proposed amendment to the Woodburn Development Ordinance (WDO) related to the transportation system plan and trip budgets, to Oct. 23, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. Chair Lisa Ellsworth said staff recommended the continuance and that the record be left open through the new hearing date.
The amendment would change provisions in the WDO addressing recent development activity in the Southwest Industrial Reserve and trip budgets in section 2.05.01. Chair Lisa Ellsworth told the commission that "staff has recommended that this item be continued until 10/23/2025 at 7PM and that the record be left open until that time." The chair also noted that anyone who wished to speak could either testify that night or defer until the date when the full staff report and recommendations will be presented.
The vote to continue was made by a commissioner, seconded, and approved by voice vote. The commission will reconvene the hearing on Oct. 23, 2025, when staff will present the full report and recommendations.
