He told the board staff is awaiting MOUs with GDOT and the cities of McDonough and Stockbridge, will seek sign permits and quotes for fabrication and installation, and is preparing a paratransit guide, marketing materials, an open house and a ribbon‑cutting ceremony.
"We actually also completed today the final route and field review of stop locations," Salters said. The timeline places the project in technical task work ahead of final agreements and outreach. No formal action was taken; the presentation closed with staff noting partner coordination as the principal obstacle.
