Cultural Resources staff warns EO 90 storm-permitting leeway will expire mid-August

Bob of the Cultural Resources Office informed the board that Mayor's Executive Order 90, issued after recent storms to give property owners leeway in addressing storm damage, will expire for CRO-related matters in mid-August.
"The mayor's executive order 90, which was put in place after the storm to kinda give property owners in the storm area some leeway to work with us for hardship...that expires in mid August for our portion of it," Bob said, and added that other parts of the order expire July 28 and that the CRO portion "might be extended" but staff wanted commissioners to be aware that more storm-related items could appear on future agendas.
Bob encouraged commissioners to anticipate storm-related permitting issues and said staff would continue to work directly with property owners under the existing order until it expires.
