"This was the low bid 3,350,000 from 53 corp," he said, adding engineering oversight costs and a contingency that bring the total project authorization to just over $4,000,000. Staff noted the pond will be electro‑fished and fish relocated by outside entities and warned residents the pond will be drained and "it will stink" while exposed sediments dry. The council approved the resolution by unanimous vote.
