The Pleasant Hill City Council voted unanimously to approve an ordinance rezoning 402 South 1st Street from Light Industrial (M-1) to General Business (C-1).
Staff told the council the rezoning application was submitted by Mark Idel and was recommended for approval by Planning & Zoning at its July 7 public hearing. The change was described as intended to reflect current use on the site and to avoid repeated conditional use permits. "I'll make a motion to approve VEIL 26-24, an ordinance approving the rezoning application for 402 1st Street from Light Industrial M-1 to General Business C-1," a councilmember said before the motion was seconded.
The council heard no public comment on the item. A roll-call vote recorded yes votes and the ordinance was adopted. No amendments or conditions were made during the council discussion. The action was recorded on the agenda as VEIL 26-24 and will be reflected in the city's zoning map and records as the administrative process is completed.
