Administration certifies executive agencies comply with HB 2513 DEI provisions

Secretary Adam Proffitt told the council he had his HR and policy staff search agency job titles, training and contracts for the specified DEI/CRT terms required by HB 2513 and found no matches. "We did the search for diversity, equity, inclusion, and critical race theory... none of the job titles contained any of those search terms," Proffitt said, and he confirmed the statewide email-signature policy remains unchanged.
Proffitt said the certification is substantially similar to one he provided in July 2025 and that, after review, he was certifying compliance for the current budget period. The council heard the report and did not take further action; the certification was recorded as the administration's compliance statement under the statute.
