McCook County updates P&Z fee schedule and approves plats and five building permits

Flogstad also presented five building permit applications (permit #24-082 through #24-086) including residential repairs, a 15x16 deck, a modular home for Meadow View Hutterian Brethren, a 76x152 shop, and a 32x66 garage; each permit was approved by motion.
Following review of the current fee schedule and staff comments that current fees did not cover costs, the Commission adopted a new Planning & Zoning fee schedule effective Jan. 1, 2025: 911 Address $150; Variance hearing $150; Conditional Use hearing $150; Rezone hearing $250; Plat Submission $100 plus $25 per lot. The minutes note that signage is required for Variance, Conditional Use and Rezone applications and one sign is included in an application.
