The South Shore Town Board on Oct. 7 considered and approved multiple liquor license renewals.
A motion by J. Dolen, seconded by R. Ott, approved renewal PL-4865 for Scotty’s Black Lab Tavern; the motion passed with two votes in favor and one recusal (S. Johanson recused). A separate motion by J. Dolen, seconded by R. Ott, approved renewal RL-5982 for Scotty’s Black Lab Tavern with the same voting pattern and recusal noted. The minutes record S. Johanson as recused for both Scotty’s renewals.
Renewals for Meyer’s Recreation Center (RL-6218 and PL-19902) were approved unanimously, and an additional renewal motion for RL-29573 passed unanimously though the minutes do not tie RL-29573 to a named establishment. Board records reflect the motions and votes as recorded in the meeting minutes.
By practice, board members recused themselves where declared; the renewals will be reflected in the town licensing records.
