The Junction City School District Governing Board approved several routine items at its Jan. 14 meeting. Recorded votes were unanimous among members present (Erin McCully, Trina Stokley, Megan Curran and Liza Wisniewski) with Nancy Barnes absent. Actions approved with recorded 4–0 votes included: approval of Nov. 12, 2025 minutes; Resolution #1-14-26 on equipment categorization; the School Accountability Report Card (SARC); annual certification regarding workers' compensation under EC 42141; updates to the CSBA Revised JCESD Board Policy Manual; acceptance of donations; and approval of payroll and warrants.
Form 700 filings by board and administration were completed as noted on the agenda. The board convened into closed session at 4:58 p.m. for personnel matters and later reported out that it had accepted the Administrative Assistant's resignation effective Feb. 1, 2026. The next regular meeting is scheduled for Feb. 11, 2026.
