Board elects officers for 2026, sets regular meeting schedule

The Junction City Elementary School District Governing Board elected its 2026 officers during its Dec. 10 meeting. Trina Stokley nominated Erin McCully for president, and the board approved the nomination 5-0.
The board also named Trina Stokley vice president and Nancy Barnes clerk, each by unanimous 5-0 votes. Board members present were Erin McCully, Trina Stokley, Nancy Barnes, Megan Curran and Liza Wisniewski.
In the same motion block the board approved a resolution fixing the time, date and location of regular meetings: the second Wednesday of each month at 4:00 p.m. at Junction City School. The motion to adopt the schedule was made by Nancy Barnes and seconded by Megan Curran; the vote was 5 ayes, 0 noes, 0 absent.
The board set its next regular meeting for Jan. 14, 2026.
