Council accepts Hueckman Construction bid of $74,750 for Freemont & North Bridge Road project

City Manager Amanda Born read the bid schedules for the Freemont & North Bridge Road Construction Project funded under an SCA grant. Councilor Barb Northington moved to accept Hueckman Construction's bid of $74,750; the motion was seconded and passed unanimously.
Councilors discussed additional needs on Shirttail Creek Road and noted that with two open SCA grants the city must complete at least one of the projects before applying for more ODOT SCA funding. Councilor Shane Koppel said he intended to add gravel to improve Shirttail Creek Road in the interim.
