Councilor Koppel says unapproved charges strained Golf Course; committee seeks approval controls

"Moving forward, any costs billed to the Golf Course need to be approved by someone on the Golf Committee," Koppel said.
City Manager Amanda Born said the city had paid about $1,000 out of the golf budget for an audit in the prior fiscal year as well. Koppel also reported the Golf Committee's plan to sell the course tractor as surplus equipment and purchase a replacement mower similar to the City's. Council did not take formal action on the surplus sale at this meeting but asked the City Manager to follow up with the committee and return with specifics.
