Why did you put only 6 on the bulletin... So we want everybody to be included." A member asked whether the straw poll would be a color straw poll; the chair said, to their knowledge, "there's gonna be no color," while noting that arrangements could change.
The chair also flagged logistical concerns, saying the candidate is coming from Uganda and there are "some concerns of, visas and stuff," and that the candidate will attend "as soon as possible." The chair added a personal remark that they "know him very well for a long time" and relayed that the candidate's CV said he "invented the straw poll process," though the chair said they could not confirm that claim.
The Council indicated the straw poll is planned for Thursday morning; specific timing and whether a color straw poll will be used remained subject to change.
