Public Works Supervisor Taylor Keith told the council that curb replacement on Indiana Avenue is nearly complete and will be blacktopped next, with sidewalk work under the basketball courts to follow. He said D&M is ahead of schedule on pipe installation and that Phase IV will be completed in the next few weeks.
Supervisor Keith also presented outfitting quotes for the newly approved 2024 F‑350: snowplow assembly and harness $3,553.00, a used radio $1,400.00 and striping $950.00, totaling $5,903.00. He noted that a snowplow and equipment had already been budgeted in the FY2024/25 budget for a larger amount than quoted.
The council accepted these updates; staff will proceed with planned paving and final outfitting procurement consistent with the budget.
