Selectmen adopt Building Key Access Policy, table WISP; inspector to visit 54–56 Weston Hill Road

Selectman Mike Fimbel moved and Selectman Tom Driscoll seconded a motion to accept the town’s Building Key Access Policy; the board voted unanimously in favor. The board then reviewed a WISP policy and agreed to table it until they receive additional information.
Quinlan said the Planning Board is near completion of ordinances codification and that the Selectmen would prefer the codified rules posted publicly before sending junkyard letters. The Building Inspector informed the board he will visit 54–56 Weston Hill Road with the Police Chief after homeowners responded to a certified letter from Town Counsel; the inspector will document the property with photos and notes and report back. Quinlan warned that if the property is still not in compliance with the court order the town will ask Town Counsel to petition the court for further remedies.
The board took no vote on the junkyard letter at this meeting but set a path to follow pending the Planning Board's codification and the Building Inspector’s report.
