The Heritage Pines Community Development District on April 15 adopted Resolution 2025-03 approving a proposed operations and maintenance (O&M) budget for fiscal year 2025/2026 and set a public hearing for July 15, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Heritage Pines Country Club Meeting Room.
District Manager Chuck Adams told supervisors the proposed FY2026 budget is similar to the current year but shows a net reduction of approximately $4,000 in appropriations. He said the district’s O&M assessment is projected to decrease by $2.88 per unit compared with the previous year.
The board voted unanimously to adopt the resolution. The motion to approve was made by Arthur Rhodes and seconded by Carol Vaughan; the vote was recorded as "with all in favor." The board will consider the budget for final adoption at the July public hearing, after required transmittal, posting and publication steps are completed.
Adams reviewed the adjustments that produced the modest savings but did not provide a line-by-line breakdown at the meeting; he said staff would follow up with required notices and that the public hearing notice will be filed by district counsel. The board’s action preserves the procedural steps required under Florida law for budget adoption.
