During the public-comment portion of the July 27 meeting a resident said he developed software that extracts meeting topics and delivers translations into different languages and formats for residents.
The speaker said he was not there to solicit sales but to demonstrate the tool and offered a card and a demo link: "I developed a software... which will deliver... the topics what you guys talking about here... in different languages," he told the council. Staff invited him to share his contact information and to meet to review the product. The comment prompted brief council discussion about resident engagement and whether the issue was primarily a readership/engagement problem rather than an accessibility problem.
