Health services report: high compliance, increased health-office visits and extensive med administrations

District health staff Melissa and Shelley presented the annual health-services report, noting some slides were presented in executive content because of sensitive data. Shelley summarized immunization and compliance figures: "Our compliance rate with the district is 98.8 percent. Students who meet minimum requirements are 90.2 percent for the 25–26 school year," she said.
The report included service metrics: staff reported 9,984 scheduled medication administrations and a total of 16,009 medications administered across the district this year, including three emergency medication administrations. The team said there were 51 medical emergency responses during the year and that the higher count likely reflects improved reporting and staff training to call for support. Vision and hearing screenings were also reported: 816 vision screens with 63 referrals and 18 new prescriptions; 776 hearing screens with two referrals. The district's dental partner, Seal-A-Smile, visited multiple times and served 500 students, providing what the presentation described as $194,705 in free dental services and referring 51 students for further care. Staff emphasized these are reported counts and that some cases are likely underreported to the district because of parent reporting limitations.
