Osage City council adopts four organizational resolutions for 2026 budget year

At the Jan. 12 special called meeting, the Osage City Council approved a four-item consent agenda by motion of Councilmember Susan Smith, seconded by Mike Handly. The resolutions passed unanimously (8-0): Resolution No. 1145 (GAAP waiver for 2025 cash-basis & budget laws), Resolution No. 1146 (appropriation by fund for the 2026 budget year), Resolution No. 1147 (designating the official city newspaper), and Resolution No. 1148 (designating depositories of funds and authorized signatures on city accounts).
Councilmembers recorded the single consent vote rather than separate roll-call votes for each resolution. No discussion or requests for amendment were recorded during the consent agenda item.
