Payson council confirms economic, planning and adjustment board appointments

Payson City Council on April 15 approved a slate of appointments across several boards. Councilmember Brian Hulet moved to appoint Lindsey Hughes, Joseph Hansen and Sean Pickup to the Payson City Economic Development Board; the motion was seconded by Councilmember Ryan Rowley and passed by roll call. The council also appointed Ric Johnson to the Board of Adjustment (motion by Councilmember Rowley, seconded by Councilmember Moss) and approved two Planning Commission appointments—Ryan Frisby and Perry Adams—on a motion from Councilmember Moss.
All appointments were approved by the same roll call pattern (four yes votes, one absence recorded). The council welcomed the appointees and recorded the formal resolutions for each board, allowing the newly appointed members to assume duties as provided by board rules and city procedures.
