Council approves surplus declaration for police firearms; proceeds to buy spare and less‑lethal gear

Council Member Todd Williams moved to approve Resolution 2026‑06 and Council unanimously adopted the resolution. Chief Brown also thanked citizens who spoke during open session about cemetery concerns and said the department would provide extra patrols for the area. The minutes record no dissent and the motion carried with all five Council Members voting yes.
