City introduces new arborist and park supervisor, Nathan Duran

Public Works Superintendent Jesus Beltran introduced Nathan Duran as the new city arborist and park supervisor for the Department of Public Works. Duran told commissioners he had worked with Mill Valley during a prior contract with a conservation corps about 10 years ago and most recently served as a supervising ranger for Marin County parks.
Duran said he aims to be responsive to tree- and park-related questions and invited commissioners and residents to contact him by phone, text or email for concerns. Commissioners welcomed Duran to the role and expressed enthusiasm about his experience working with the city.
