UMH Communities asks county help after state health department cites trees at Broadmoor Estates

Brenda Radcliffe, regional manager for UMH Communities, came to the podium during privilege of the floor to report a state health department violation at Broadmoor Estates on State Route 15.
Radcliffe said the health department is requiring removal of certain trees that are not on the community's property; the landowner where the trees sit ‘‘is willing to do nothing about them,’’ she said, leaving the park operator stuck. She said her general counsel had directed them to bring the issue to the county.
County staff asked Radcliffe to remain after the meeting to provide documents and agreed to follow up. "I have a little packet that should explains more in detail so you could see," Radcliffe said. The board acknowledged staff would follow up with the community representative.
