Council approves rezoning of 1.98 acres at 1381 N. 600 W. from RR to R1-10

The Pleasant Grove City Council voted unanimously to rezone approximately 1.98 acres at 1381 North 600 West from RR (Rural Residential) to R1-10 on Feb. 17. Community Development Director Daniel Cárdenas told the council the parcel sits directly south of the Makin Dreams subdivision, nearby zones include R1-8, R1-10 and R1-12, and the city’s General Plan supports the rezoning to R1-10.
The Planning Commission reviewed the application and forwarded a unanimous recommendation of approval. No public comments were offered during the public hearing. The council moved to approve Ordinance 2026-005 and the motion carried with all five council members voting yes.
