Staff reported a neighborhood meeting scheduled for March 18 for properties at 607 and 629 6th Street where applicants are considering an expansion and accessory dwelling unit (ADU) use. "They're looking to do an expansion of their home and then what they're calling an ADU, but actually they've got two lots," staff said, and noted the town will email the board when a formal submittal is received.
Boland advised the board that the application could arrive in May or June depending on the completeness and quality of the submittal. He also said staff may present an update on the wildfire-resiliency code and reminded the board that an exemption for contributing historic structures had been inserted into the draft to allow flexibility for preservation decisions.
